Glints Glossary
- Candidate site: candidate-facing website (i.e. glints.sg, glints.id)
- Employer site: employer-facing website (i.e. employers.glints.sg, employers.glints.id)
- TalentHunt: subset of paid features in Employer site accessible only to employers serviced by our recruiters
- Candidate: job-seeker using our Candidate site
- Employer: company users who are hiring using our Employer site
- Company: company profile on Glints
- Company admin: admin user of the company profile
- Company recruiter: recruiter user of the company profile
- Glints recruiter: internal recruiters within Glints
- User account: an entry stored in our database of the user email, password and other primary information
- User profile: an entry stored in our database associated with the user account, relating to additional information such as education, work experience etc.
- Sectors: our current job category which is similar to career that will be deprecated soon
- Industries: what kind or type the company is (i.e Automotive, Furniture, Wholesale, etc)
- Careers: a very useful thread for users which sharing the meaning, interview tips, related occupations, and also related opportunities for every job categories
- Job: job listing on our website
- Job Roles: Refers to the general job roles such as Software engineering, Data Science etc. Refer to "General Job Roles" sheet for the full list.
- Job Titles: Refers to specific job roles under the job roles, such as iOS Developer, Product Designer etc. Refer to the “Specific Job Titles” sheet for the full list.
- Post a job: publishing a job listing
- Apply: candidate submits an application to a job
- Notification: in-app push notifications
- Email touchpoints: all transactional emails sent out to our users
- Register: sign up for an account on Glints
- Production: refers to live sites used by candidates and employers (i.e. glints.sg, glints.id, employers.glints.sg, employers.glints.id)
- Staging: testing sites which mirrors conditions of the Production sites
- Local: a development environment used by the tech team for testing, implementing, bug fixing
- Pushed to [Production or Staging]: means that the bug/ feature has been deployed to Production or Staging sites and is now accessible on said sites
